Hypervisible

Hypervisible is an analytical essay I wrote exploring the lived experiences of Black women in society and the constant feeling of being very visible due to the white gaze vs. feeling invisible in terms of agency and self-determination due to white supremacy structures of oppression. The piece explores how this feeling manifests within physical spaces and how that then translates into online surveillance through the digitisation of our every day lives.
